The power LED flashes when the device is "ON".
The front LEDs flash every 0.5 seconds to indicate that the device is ready.
When it comes into contact with the skin, the device activates and removes hair as long as the head remains in contact.
The device goes into "standby" mode and automatically deactivates 6 seconds after the Sensa-Light head is removed from the skin.
It reactivates when it is applied to the skin again.
